![]() ![]() If a guard is detecting your drone, quickly deactivate it. Drone recon is also usually a good time to grab any access keys you see floating around (they’re coded with a red cloud of squiggles and a key icon). Take the lay of the land and be sure to tag as many guards as you can see. ![]() The drone can fly into ducts and bounce off walls and ceilings without taking damage, which means it can get above and inside every area. If you have to get from point A to point B, use the cover-transition system (aim where you’re going and press X/A) instead of moving freely.īefore you head into a new restricted area, you should always whip out your drone first and see what’s what. The enemy AI isn’t all that bright, but they will see you very easily if you’re running around out of cover. ![]() If you’re sneaking around, stay in cover as much as possible. I decided that Marcus had just knocked out whoever he killed. The game doesn’t punish you for this or anything, it just feels out of character for Marcus to wantonly murder people. There’s no way to put a sleeper hold on someone you just choke them out or beat them to death with your pool-ball mace. Marcus’s melee attacks are always lethal. If you kill someone, tell yourself they’re just sleeping. You can fill a sleeping guard’s Zs back up by shooting them again with your stun gun. If a guard only has one Z on them, they’re about to wake up. As time passes, a stunned guard will go from three Zs to two, to one. It's far safer to simply kill them so they can't get up.Watch Dogs 2 borrows Metal Gear Solid’s “count the Z’s” approach to sleeping guards. You'll be doing some hacking later, so the guards might wake up before you're done. One thing we do suggest though, is to make sure you kill the enemies and not knock them unconscious. This area is littered with objects you can interact with and explode, so make sure to use them when you can. Once you have an idea of where everyone is, head to the back corner of the building, and start working your way up, killing one enemy at a time. Walk around, marking enemies and using cameras to spot others. So long as you're patient, you can breeze through this part. After that, you'll be directed to go to a temple, and get into the basement.Īgain, this part will seem more difficult than it is. Simply walk over to the house and speak with Siska who will be inside.Īfter freeing him, run out of the compound to escape and complete this part of the mission.īefore getting to this part, you'll need to speak with Jimmy again, in a new location. Fortunately, you've already killed all of, or most of the guards, so this won't be an issue. Don't want to miss them, then not be able to open a door!Īfter downloading the registry, the objective will change to rescuing Jimmy Siska. Make sure to download the Access Keys as well. We still suggest killing them though, as this will also allow you to pick up items, such as the Key Data that is here. Also, simply going around distracting all the guards can be an easy way to walk through this area. We suggest using the silenced pistol since it's a little safer, but melee is always an option if you don't have the pistol.ĭepending on your upgrade level, there are plenty of opportunities to use the environment to get kills. They are fairly spread up, so you should have little issue. Although there are a lot of guards, this part isn't as tricky as it might seem.įrom here, you can safely start picking off the guards. That wraps up the first part of the mission.Īfter a few cutscenes and some driving, you'll have an objective to steal a registry from a building. Once you have the data, exit the same way you entered, then run from the building to escape the area. If anyone comes to investigate what's going on, make sure to deal with them quickly before an alarm goes off. Once the coast is relatively clear, interact with the computer to start the data download. Simply keep to cover, and take them out with melee attacks, or the silenced pistol. They are thankfully spaced out enough that you can usually pick them off with no problem. Since we plan to be inside for a couple minutes, we suggest you take these guards out. On the second floor of this building, you'll see a few guards. Once you're up top, you'll want to head for the door and start prepping to go inside. Raise it up so you can jump onto the balcony that's right by where we are. Now that you have the Access Keys, jump into the scissor lift as Marcus. Once you have the Access Keys, head back to Marcus. Be very careful here, as you need to hack into the computer to get some Access Keys, but don't want to be seen. Drive into it, then turn left when you can. Once inside the room, head across to the opposite side, while avoiding guards, and you'll find another vent. ![]()
